About the Images

The majority of these fish have been caught in the Niagara River.  Being the great year round multi-species fishery that it is, you can see a good variety of Trout and of course our favourite, the Steelhead.  The images depict the seasonal changes for which Canada is most famous for and the species may include Brown Trout, Lake Trout, Steelhead, Chinook Salmon and Coho Salmon.

Aside from the Niagara River, we also fish the tributaries of Georgian Bay in Bruce/Grey Counties including Beaver, Bighead, Nottawasaga and Saugeen.  On lower Lake Huron in Huron County, we fish Bayfield, Maitland and Nine Mile rivers.  We visit these river less frequently due to their dependence on rain and runoff to maintain fishable water levels, but they definitely are a rewarding treat!

Not to be forgotten in our shore and wade fishing specialities is River Smallies.  They are always cooperative and definitely a pound for pound heavyweight in their own rights.  Night-time topwaters for smallmouth on these Southern Ontario rivers is always a heart pounding adventure!
